Who We Are

Our Mission

To inspire and educate youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through hands-on robotics programs, including supporting participation in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC).

Roboreach is a Virginia nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We support students and families in the McLean, Virginia and nearby area — providing real-world opportunities to develop the skills that shape future engineers, programmers, and problem-solvers.

Our programs center on FIRST Tech Challenge competition, giving young people direct experience with engineering design, software development, and gracious professionalism — skills that translate far beyond the competition floor.

01
Technical Skills
Students learn programming, mechanical engineering, and electronics by designing and building real competition robots from scratch each season.
02
Teamwork
FTC demands true collaboration — students divide responsibilities, support each other, and learn how to work effectively as a team under pressure.
03
Creativity & Innovation
Every season brings a new challenge with no textbook solution. Students design, prototype, iterate — and learn that failure is part of the process.
04
Problem-Solving
Real competition problems require analytical thinking and adaptability. Students develop resilience and the confidence to tackle complex challenges.
